The latest data from Lithuania reports 517 655 confirmed coronavirus cases with an increase of 1 697 new cases in the past day. 1 050 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by coronavirus complications has reached 7 373 in Lithuania.
9 826 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests in 12.7%. 4 561 people have died from Covid-19 in Latvia so far and eight in the last 24 hours. 259 623 have recovered.
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 557.4.
