On Thursday morning, Latvian government websites came under a large-scale distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack, representatives of the state-owned company Latvijas Valsts radio un televīzijas centrs (LVRTC) reported.
As a result, disruptions were observed on the website of the State Revenue Service (vid.gov.lv), the national portal (Latvija.lv), the Cabinet of Ministers’ website (mk.gov.lv), as well as the websites of ministries, municipalities, and other state institutions.
The website eParaksts.lv is also unavailable to users.
LVRTC is currently working on investigating and mitigating the attack.
