A light wind will blow, turning from the southwest and west by midnight and gradually strengthening slightly. In coastal Vidzeme, gusts may reach up to 14 m/s overnight. Nighttime air temperatures will drop to +14…+18°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to +19…+24°C, with slightly cooler conditions along the coast.
On Wednesday, skies will remain mostly cloudy, although there may be brief clear spells in some places during the night. As a broad rain zone approaches from the southeast in the morning,
rain is expected in many areas – especially in central and eastern regions, where heavy downpours and thunderstorms are likely.
According to the Meteorology Centre, fog may form in some regions overnight, significantly reducing visibility. A light wind will shift from the north and northeast during the day, increasing in strength with gusts in the east reaching 15–17 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will fall to +12…+16°C, while daytime highs will range between +17…+20°C.
On Thursday, skies will remain mostly cloudy, although occasional clearings are expected in Kurzeme. Rain is expected across most of the country, with locally heavy showers and thunderstorms possible at night. A moderate to moderately strong northerly and northeasterly wind will blow, with gusts in the western regions reaching 15–18 m/s during the day. Nighttime temperatures will drop to +13…+17°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to +19…+24°C. It will be cooler along the Kurzeme coast, where the thermometer will not exceed +17…+19°C.
