On Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will remain similar – most of the country will be under cloudy skies, with occasional clearings in some areas. A precipitation zone will continue to move across the country – on Wednesday, rain is expected in most areas, while on Thursday, it will mainly affect the eastern and central parts of Latvia, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
A light to moderate wind will blow, becoming gusty again on Thursday, reaching 15–19 m/s along the coast. At night, temperatures will drop to +8…+12°C, while during the day, it will warm up only to +12…+17°C.
On Friday, cloud cover will vary, and some areas will see rain. At night, a moderate to moderately strong northwesterly to northerly wind will blow, with gusts reaching 15–18 m/s along the coast, gradually calming during the day. Night temperatures will fall to +8…+12°C, but during the day, they will rise to +15…+20°C.
Over the weekend, the sun will alternate with clouds, and precipitation will subside. In some places, the wind will be gusty, and slightly warmer weather will return – in some areas, daytime temperatures could rise to +23°C.
At the beginning of the new workweek, the weather will remain similar to the weekend – mostly clear skies, no significant precipitation expected, and warm days.
