Tuesday will see up to +12°C, by midweek precipitation and fog are expected

On Tuesday, cloud cover will be variable, but the day will pass without precipitation. A light to moderate north to northeast wind will blow, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology, and Meteorology Center.

During the day, the temperature will reach between +7°C and +12°C, though in some northwestern regions, the air temperature will not exceed +4°C to +7°C. At night, the temperature will drop to between -2°C and +3°C.

In the following days, the sky will be mostly cloudy, with occasional clear spells.

Meteorologists predict light precipitation on Wednesday, while on Thursday, a large precipitation zone will approach Latvia, bringing rain to many areas, with some places possibly seeing wet snow.

A light wind will dominate, leading to fog formation in certain regions, reducing visibility. Night temperatures will hover around 0°C, while daytime temperatures will range between +3°C and +7°C, reaching +8°C to +12°C in southeastern regions on Thursday.

Current forecasts suggest that precipitation will subside by the weekend, potentially bringing sunny weather for the holidays. Temperatures will remain similar—at night, thermometers will drop below 0°C in many areas, while daytime temperatures will not exceed 10°C.
