A total of 354 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours. 282 of the patients were either not vaccinated or have not yet completed their vaccination course. 72 new patients were vaccinated, however.
The latest public data for Estonia reports 143 183 confirmed coronavirus patients. 346 new patients were registered in the past day.
1 296 people have died from the virus in Estonia so far.
The latest data from Lithuania reports 301 167 confirmed coronavirus cases with an increase 819 new cases in the past day.
The number of deaths caused by coronavirus complications has reached 4 593 in Lithuania.
26 960 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests in 1.3%. So far 2 584 people have died from Covid-19 in Latvia and 138 084 have recovered.
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 159.3.

Data from the European Disease and Monitoring Centre shows that Latvia currently has one of the lowest infection indexes in Europe.
