The weather in the next few days will remain as before, with clouds and light rain, and chance of snow, sleet and wet snow in the east. Fog will form in many places during the night on Wednesday, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
On Wednesday, the anticyclone will weaken, and westerly winds will strengthen. Nights will cool to 0…+4 degrees, a degree warmer on the coast, and daytime highs will be +2…+7 degrees.
The second half of the week will be mostly cloudy with occasional rain in some areas, but rain is expected in most of the country on Thursday. Westerly winds will become stronger and will pick up to gusty on the coast over the weekend. Temperatures will also be as they have been.
