Thursday, the 24th of October, will by dry and cloudy. The wind will blow from the west and south-west. Wind speed will reach 14 m/sec. Maximum air temperature during the day will reach +10° C… +14° C, as reported by Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Friday night will be somewhat cloudy. The day, however, will be partly clear from time to time. No significant precipitation is expected. The wind will become slower and air temperature at night will drop the +9° C… +12° C. Daytime air temperature will reach +10° C… +14° C.
The weekend – both Saturday and Sunday – will be partly cloudy with moments of clear sky. Some rain showers are expected as well. The night to Saturday will be chilly – air temperature will drop to +2° C… +8° C. Sunday’s night and day are not expected to be any warmer.
As cyclone activity goes up, the first half of next week will be rainy and windy in Latvia. It is possible that, as air temperature goes down, Latvia may see wet snow. Nevertheless, forecasts are uncertain at the moment.
