Wednesday, the 2nd of October, will be overcast. Lasting rain at night is expected in most of the country. During the day, however, precipitation will be mostly observed in Kurzeme and Vidzeme, as reported by Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Wind speed will be slow to moderate of speed. At night, wind speed along the coast in Kurzeme may reach 14 m/sec. Minimal air temperature at night is expected at +5° C… +9° C. It may be warmer along the coast in Kurzeme. Air temperature during the day may reach +7° C… +12° C.
Meteorologists say that on Thursday weather conditions will be similar – clouds in the sky, slow to moderate wind speed, and precipitation. At night, rain is expected in northern parts of the country. A new precipitation zone will start passing through the country from the south-east in the afternoon. This precipitation zone will bring rain to all of Latvia on the night to Friday. Air temperature at night will drop to +3° C… +8° C (+9° C… +11° C along the coast). Daytime air temperature will stay at +9° C… +12° C.
