Because of the anticyclone there will be less clouds in the first half of the week. No precipitation is expected. The wind will be slow to moderate and will blow from the east. It will be stronger along the coast. At night air temperature will drop to 0° C… -6° C. Daytime air temperature will reach +2° C… +8° C, as reported by Latvian State Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
In the second half of the week high atmospheric pressure will remain. The sun will continue shining. The clouds will appear only briefly. No significant precipitation is expected.
The latest forecast indicates that it may snow on the weekend. As colder masses of air flow to the country, air temperature will go down by a couple of degrees. At night air temperature will drop to 0° C… -5° C (-8° C in eastern parts), whereas maximum daytime air temperature is expected at 0° C… +5° C.
