In Baltic hospitals, a total of 963 people are treated from Covid-19. More than half of them are in Lithuanian hospitals, where two thirds of Covid-19 beds are filled, according to LRT, ERR and the Latvian Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
The data on Sunday, September 5, indicate that in Lithuanian hospitals, as many as 637 patients were in Covid-19 wards. In the largest Baltic country, there are 906 beds intended for the patients of the dangerous virus disease, LRT reports.

Latvia on Sunday had the second largest number of hospitalised novel coronavirus patients. Its hospitals treated 184 such patients, with 29 being in a severe health condition, according to the Latvian Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
As to Estonia, it can be said that also in the smallest Baltic country, a considerable number of patients are treated from Covid-19. On Sunday, there were 142 such patients, by three more than on Saturday, September 4, ERR reports.
