The Israeli army has broken the Gaza Strip into two parts. The Israelis plan to further escalate air strikes against Hamas in the area, as confirmed by the Israeli army’s spokesperson Daniel Hagari in the evening on Sunday, the 5th of November.
Tensions are on a rise in the northern parts of Israel – on its border with Lebanon.
Hagari reported that units of the Israeli army have reached the Mediterranean coast in the southern parts of Gaza, adding that now there is “North Gaza and South Gaza”. Gaza is completely surrounded, said the representative of the Israeli army, adding that this is a decisive step.
“We continue maintaining a corridor for residents of Gaza [Strip] and the city of Gaza to go to the south,” said Hagari, stressing: this is a one-way corridor.
He also stressed that
air strikes on the Gaza Strip will be increased.
A car driven by Israelis was shot by an anti-tank missile on the border with Lebanon. The missile was allegedly fired from the side of Lebanon, the Israeli army reports. The response was a missile attack on the location from which the anti-tank missile was fired. A representative of the Israeli army also reported that one Israeli person was killed in a shootout on the border.
