Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Russia’s Chechnya region, expressed pride on Monday, the 25th of September, that his son Adam had physically attacked a prisoner accused of burning the Koran, reports Reuters.
Kadyrov shared the remarks on Telegram and posted a video showing a young man in khaki physically attacking another man. He praised his son Adam’s actions, saying:
“He beat him, and he did the right thing,”
adding that he was genuinely proud of Adam, noting that he truly admired Adam for embracing the ideals of honour, dignity and defending his religion.

The prisoner involved in the incident, Nikita Zhuravel, had reported the attack to the Russian human rights ombudswoman, who then reported the situation to her counterpart in Chechnya.
Recently, there have been several speculations about Ramzan Kadyrov’s health, including rumours of his death or coma. Last week, he reassured the public on Telegram that he was in good health, explaining that his recent visit to a Moscow hospital was related to visiting his sick uncle.
