75% of Latvian residents at least 18 years old have received at least one Covid-19 vaccine injection so far, according to estimates from the National Health Service (NVD) based on data from the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia on population numbers in Latvia for the start of 2021.
In Estonia 60.99% of the population or 811 209 of residents have received at least one vaccine injection. 771 255 of them have completed the vaccination course, which is equal to 57.99% of Estonia’s population, according to the country’s Covid-19 vaccination portal vaktsineeri.ee.
In Lithuania 1 828 950 people have received at least one Covid-19 vaccine injection, which is 65.3% of the country’s population. 1 620 972 (58.3%) of them have completed the vaccination course, according to the country’s official vaccination portal stat.gov.lt.
According to the aforementioned data, as of 11 November 73.69% of residents older than 12 years and 75.39% of residents older than 18 years have received at least one Covid-19 vaccine injection or an injection using Johnson & Johnson vaccine Janssen.
65.84% of the population older than 12 and 67,63% of the population older than 18 years have completed the vaccination course.
So far 64.62% of Latvia’s population have received at least one Covid-19 vaccine injection or J&J vaccine injection and 57.82% of the population have completed the vaccination course.
These estimates were based on the latest data from CSP on the provisional population number at the start of July 2021.
The vaccination rate remained high over the course of the month and even exceeded the vaccination rate observed in summer and the start of autumn.

There are four Covid-19 vaccines approved for use in the EU: Comirnaty (Pfizer/BioNTech), Spikevax (prev. Moderna), Vaxzevria (Prev. AstraZeneca) and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson). Due to low demand, however, Vaxzevria is used very little in Latvia.
