Kim Jong Un is travelling to Russia on a specialised train, according to a South Korean source, reports Reuters. Both Pyongyang and Moscow confirmed earlier reports on Monday, the 11th of September, that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will meet with President Vladimir Putin.
“There will be talks between the two delegations. And if necessary, the leaders will
continue talks in a one-on-one format,”
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a published video, adding that the meeting between the two leaders would be a full-scale visit.
Peskov said that the upcoming talks between Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin would focus on bilateral relations between the two countries. He underlined his commitment to further strengthen the friendship between the two countries.
