The Ukrainian army has taken the most important high ground around Bakhmut, as reported by Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Hanna Maliar on Monday, the 10th of July.
She reported on her Telegram channel that over the past day Ukrainian forces have secure fire control over “the entrances and exits of the city”, as well about as the movement of Russian forces in the city.

On Monday, the 10th of July, Ukrainian army representative Andriy Kovalyov reported that
last week a total of 14 km2 of territories was liberated from Russian invaders.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated over 10 square kilometres of land in the south last week,” he reported, adding that 4 km2 of territory was liberated in Bakhmut sector.
Since the start of the Ukrainian counter-offensive Ukrainian army has liberated 193 km2 of the country’s territory.
