Polish and Baltic culture ministers to sign declaration to support Ukraine

On the final day of XXVII Latvian Song and XVII Dance Celebration culture ministers of five countries will sign a joint declaration on Latvia’s, Poland’s, Lithuania’s and Estonia’s support to restore Ukraine’s cultural heritage, as reported by Latvian Ministry of Culture.
The ministry notes that the signing of the declaration regarding Poland’s and Baltic States’ support for the restoration of Ukraine’s cultural heritage will take place on Sunday, the 9th of July at the Latvian Museum of Architecture.

Before the signing of the declaration the Ministry of Culture will organise a high-level discussion about the protection of Ukrainian cultural heritage during the invasion of the Russian army.

The declaration will be signed on behalf of Latvia by the Minister of Culture Nauris Puntulis (NA), the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Oleksandr Tkachenko, Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage Piotr Gliński, the Minister of Culture of Lithuania Simonas Kairys and the Minister of Culture of Estonia Heidy Purga.
