Russia reports new drone attacks

Russian officials have reported that a Ukrainian drone caused a fire at an oil refinery in the south of Russia, and there have been shelling in cities near the border, Reuters writes.
A day after Russia accused Ukraine of attacking buildings in Moscow, the governor of the Krasnodar region Veniamin Kondratyev reported that a fire broke out at the Afipsky oil refinery, which was most likely caused by a Ukrainian-launched drone. The governor informed on the Telegram app that the flames were extinguished and no one was injured. Afipsky is near the Black Sea port city of Novorossiisk, which also houses an oil refinery that was the subject of several attacks in May.
There is no confirmed information about the origin of the drones, however, Russia has repeatedly blamed Ukraine for the attacks, while it continues heavy airstrikes on Ukrainian cities.

From the night of the 30th of May to the 31st of May, the sky over Ukraine was relatively calm,

and no wide air raid alert was reported.
The attacks on Russian territory come as Ukraine prepares for a counter-offensive to drive out the occupiers and liberate its land.
The US White House has informed that it is still collecting information about the drone attacks in Moscow. White House press secretary Karin Jean-Pierre told a news conference: “We do not support attacks inside of Russia. That’s it. Period.” Washington is a supporter of Ukraine and supplies weapons on the condition that they are used for defense and only on the territory of Ukraine. Meanwhile, the Russian ambassador to the United States has accused Washington of “encouraging terrorists”.
