Some snow still expected in Latvia this week; weekend to be dry and warm

Meteorologists predict some snow at the start of the holiday week. In the second half of the week, however, as anticyclone activity rises, the wind will calm down and precipitation will end, as reported by Latvian State Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Air temperature will go up as well. For Easter air temperature may reach +8° C… +12° C.
On Monday, the 3rd of April, the volume of clouds will gradually increase. The sky may become clear in western parts of the country.

Some snowing is expected.

Northern and north-western wind will be slow to moderate. Along the coast, however, the wind may become strong. Daytime air temperature will reach -1° C… +4° C.
Cloudy weather will remain on Tuesday, the 4th of April. At times there will be some snowing in central and eastern regions. Certain roads will become slippery. The wind will be slow and will blow from the north. At night air temperature will drop to 0° C… -5° C, whereas maximum daytime air temperature will reach -1° C… +5° C.
In the middle of the week atmospheric pressure will gradually go up. No precipitation is expected. Although there will be many clouds in the sky on Wednesday, the 5th of April, they will start dissipating. At times the sun will shine. Northern wind will remain slow to moderate. At night air temperature may drop as far as -2° C… +2° C. During the day air temperature may reach +3° C… +8° C.
Weather in Latvia will remain influenced by the anticyclone during Easter. This means warm and mostly dry weather. On the night to Good Friday air temperature may drop below 0° C. During the day air temperature is expected to be at +5° C… +10° C (+12° C at times).
