Zelensky visits the front; Russia shells Ukrainian cities

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, visited the front line near Bakhmut, which has been the scene of bloody battles for months, the BBC writes.
While Zelensky visited the front, Russian forces again launched a series of attacks on Ukrainian cities. At least eight people were killed in the vicinity of Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia. Ukraine’s armed forces said at least 16 drones were shot down, while five managed to escape through defense systems. Local government leaders indicated that the number of victims could rise.
Several apartments were destroyed in Zaporizhzhia, and the representative of the Ukrainian Air Force informed that

strikes were probably carried out by a Tornado-S missiles with a range of 120 kilometers.

The President of Ukraine condemned Russia’s brutal attacks on civilians. During the meeting with the soldiers, Zelensky also presented awards and said he was honored to meet the heroes and shake their hands.
The British military intelligence service reported on Wednesday, the 22nd of March, that the Ukrainian counteroffensive in western Bakhmut is likely to reduce pressure on the main supply route, with Russian forces losing the limited advantage they had.
Meanwhile, officials of the occupiers of Crimea have reported that just a few days after Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Sevastopol, an aerial robot attack on the city was repelled. Explosions were registered there, but Russian sources announced that three objects that tried to threaten the Russian Black Sea Fleet were destroyed, and the warships were not harmed.
The Russian attacks began as soon as Chinese President Xi Jinping wrapped up a two-day visit to Moscow. Zelensky noted that every time someone in Moscow tries to talk about peace, the Russians give orders for new attacks.
