Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky posted a video, in which he described his phone conversations with Latvia’s and Turkey’s presidents.
Zelensky said he discusses two topics with all leaders – increase of military support for Ukraine and protection for all Ukrainians in the air, on land and at sea.
«In our conversation shared with Latvia’s President [Egils Levits] we focused on the path our entire continent will need to walk, to ensure guaranteed and reliable protection after Russia’s defeat. We discussed the Ukrainian peace formula – both security topics and what applies to the restoration of our territorial integrity and full force of the UN Charter, as well as trial for Russia and those responsible for the terror against Ukrainians,» said Zelensky.
Zelensky also mentioned his conversation with Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in which the two discussed security elements in the Black Sea region. «Of course, we discussed the necessary steps towards guaranteeing food security, as well as nuclear security and prevention of nuclear-related incidents, the threats of which are made very real by Russia. We also discussed the development in our region – that Russia’s masters are in an exhausted state due to the defeat of occupying forces on the front. This makes them employ various manipulations,» said Ukraine’s president.
He thanked the Turkish leader for his support for the restoration of security in the country and all of Europe based on the restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
